Aksantys’ mission is to support individuals and communities in navigating the profound social, technological, and environmental transformations shaping our world.
Through inclusive and anticipatory education, we design and implement training and mobility programmes that respond to emerging challenges from the implications of AI and automation on the labour market, to the urgency of the green transition, digital upskilling, and civic resilience. Our initiatives empower diverse learner groups from adults and VET participants to educators and youth with the skills, mindset, and adaptability required in a time of global uncertainty.
With a track record of cross-border projects across EU countries and Sub-Saharan Africa, Aksantys combines policy insight, interdisciplinary collaboration, and fieldbased innovation to foster inclusive, future literate learning ecosystems. Our work is grounded in the belief that education is not just a tool for adaptation, but a space for transformation, agency, and social cohesion.

Aksantys Biennial Strategy (2025–2027)
The Aksantys Biennial Strategy sets the direction for our work over the next two years, responding to a world in flux marked by technological acceleration, environmental urgency, and shifting social and geopolitical dynamics.
As a non-profit educational think tank rooted in EU values of inclusion, sustainability, and solidarity, we are committed to supporting learners and communities in navigating profound transitions. Our strategy is shaped by the priorities of the European Green Deal, the Digital Decade, and the European Pillar of Social Rights, while grounded in the lived realities of those we work with across Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa.
Our Strategy
At the heart of this strategy lie two interconnected pillars that define how we act and what we stand for:
1. Learning for a Changing World
We design learning experiences that help individuals not only adapt to change but engage with it critically and confidently.
This includes digital upskilling, green transition education, and future-oriented training for diverse learner groups: from adults and VET participants to youth and educators. We embrace innovative and inclusive formats including hybrid training, micro-learning, and mobility programmes rooted in the principles of future literacy, civic resilience, and personal agency.
Our aim is to build educational pathways that are relevant, anticipatory, and socially grounded.
2. Partnerships for Social Transformation
We believe lasting impact comes through cooperation — across borders, sectors, and generations.
Our projects and collaborations are shaped by mutual trust, shared goals, and a commitment to equity. We work closely with schools, training providers, grassroots organisations, and institutions, particularly in communities where access to education remains limited or uneven.
We place strong emphasis on Europe–Africa partnerships, co-creation of content and tools, and long-term capacity building that respects local contexts and amplifies community strengths.
